Since the community, school board, administrators, students, and parents that you work with are the ones who make moral turpitude and appropriateness judgments, it is difficult to provide definitive answers on what is and is not acceptable to do in online places.

You don't know how these diverse people will interpret your behavior, especially if you're a novice instructor.
