We need to know about student assessment and evaluation, as we know assessment is always related to our grades or results.Assessments offer a comprehensive analysis of each student's performance on a given task or overall achievement in the course. The assessment process is often handled by the instructor and is represented by letters and/or numbers that combine several aspects of the student's performance.

Feedback on a student's learning is provided by theteacher and is known as evaluation.

Percentage-Based Grading: A percentage of the possible points is used in this grading scheme. For instance, if a student receives 80 points on a test with 100 possible points, their score will be calculated as 80%.
A student's grade is indicated in terms of letters under the letter-based grading system, which uses letters like A, B, C, D, or F. Typically, each letter includes a grade range that specifies the degree of accomplishment.

Decimal-Based Grading: This system use a decimal scale to represent accomplishment levels and is comparable to percentage-based grading. An 85 out of 100 score, for instance, could be written as 8.5.

Data Collection: Begin by gathering information about students' performance from a variety of sources, including examinations, homework, projects, involvement in class, and teacher observations.
